Description: Aliflex is constructed from a tough multiple layer aluminium/polyester laminate permanently bonded to a fully encapsulated high tensile spring steel helix. The product’s specification provides a high degree of abrasion and crush resistance for on site handling. A smooth inner bore and close pitch spring helix construction results in a product which is exceptionally flexible and compressible. Cross sectional area is maintained even on the sharpest bend, resulting in excellent friction loss characteristics and reduced levels of noise generation. A fully encapsulated helix guarantees that it will not separate from the duct material. The smooth interior surface ensures no dust collecting crevices when fully extended, making it highly resistant to fungal growth and maintenance free under normal conditions.
