The 'N' ferrule has been designed to allow the use of nylon tube with standard Wade bodies and compression nuts, enabling a full catalogue range to be offered in a wide variety of metric and imperial tube sizes, from 1/8" OD to 1" OD and 4mm OD to 16mm OD. The purpose of the 'N' ferrule is to provide a leak free joint on the nylon tube with the minimum of restriction to the tube bore. When making a joint, the outer sleeve will compress the tube without cutting or weakening the tube giving a reliable seal.
Assembly Instructions:
a) Ensure that the tube end is cut square to the tube axis.
b) Slip the coupling nut onto the tube.
c) Push the 'N' ferrule onto the tube end.
d) Insert the ferrule into the coupling body and hand tighten the coupling nut.
e) Further tighten by referring to assemble instructions
