Ensure that the end stops are fitted at each end of the steel track to prevent the aluminium extrusion from sliding out. Mark position of the brackets on the lintle, the pre drill the specified number of holes. The size of the bolts used will determine what diameter holes are drilled. Bolt the complete assembly to the lintle, then refer to the following for fixing PVC strips.Twin Track Fixing the Strips ![]() 1) Lay out PVC on flat surface to allow material to return to pre-packaged condition. Check doorway dimensions agree with details shown on packing note. 2) If track is in more than one piece, join sections with track joiners, as shown in the diagram. 3) Fit hanging brackets to top groove of track, equally spaced. 4) Drill lintel to dimensions shown in diagram and fix track, ensuring that it is horizontal. (If the track is being fixed between walls, it will be necessary to slide the strip clamping bolts into track before fixing track to lintel. 5) Starting with one coloured edge marker strip (if using); attach each PVC strip to track by sliding clamp bolts into track and then securing strip and clamp with washers amd M8 nuts.
