Our Metric Size Flexible Nylon Tube is manufactured from (PA12) Polyamide 12 which is impact modified, heat and light (UV) Ultraviolet Radiation stabilised. We offer the flexible nylon tube in metric sizes from 3mm od through to 28mm od. The nylon tube is light weight, seamless, flexible and of low density. It is durable with excellent mechanical strength, being resistant to crushing, cracking, abrasion and work hardening. Nylon tube has very good chemical resistance and has been used as fuel lines and paint spay lines for many years due to its good resistance to many hydrocarbons and solvents. The metric sizes of our nylon tubing are made to precise outside diameter (od) and inside diameter (id) dimensions and have a temperature range from minus 40°C (-40°C) to plus 80°C (+80°C) in continuous use and plus 110°C (+110°C) intermittant use.
Properties
-Our colour range consists of a six standard colours: Black, Natural, Red, Blue, Green & Yellow. With additional colours such as: Orange, Purple, Grey, Brown, Pink, White, Pale Blue, Beige, Tan, Light Green, Gold & Light Grey. Giving upto 18 different colours available.
-Our nylon tube is produced with a mirror smooth inner which improves flow rates.
-Further applications for our flexible nylon tube include: gas sensing, suspension lines, fuel and oil transfer lines, lubrication lines, refrigeration & coolant lines and robotics.
-Standard coil lengths are 30m or 100m. The flexible nylon tube is also supplied in 500m or 1000m continuous lengths on ply drums.

Megaflex Metric Size Semi Rigid Nylon Tube (PA12) Polyamide 12 is supplied in a range of up to 11 colours, and natural (opaque). Our Semi Rigid Nylon has a good chemical resistance, good resistance to weathering, and significantly lower water absorption than polyamide 6. The recommended operating temperatures for Semi Rigid Nylon are between -40°C and +110°C constant and up to +140°C intermittent. The metric semi rigid nylon is suitable for beverage transfer. Semi Rigid Nylon Tube has significantly higher working & burst pressures than the flexible grade which makes it suitable for high pressure applications such as grease lines and lubrication lines.

Preformed Nylon Coils
General
Nylon air coils are spiral wound, expandable lengths of Nylon Tubing often used for conveying compressed air and liquids over short distances. They are available in various sizes and lengths. With the Air coils we offer a made-to-measure/ custom made service, even for small orders quantities. The stock colour of our flexible nylon air coils is blue or red.
The self retracting and self extending characteristic of the flexible nylon preformed airline coils make them a light weight and cost effective solution for air supply to pneumatic tools. The nylon tube does not easily cause scratches on paintwork in general use.
Details
The preformed nylon coils can be configured to suit specialised applications with axial or tangential straight tails, working length, number of turns and mandrel size to suit. Additionally the preformed coils can be supplied fitted with brass bsp fittings and or spring guards to suit. The largest mandrel sizes we currently form these on will be 8" or 203mm which is usually required for the larger tube sizes.
The Preformed Nylon Coils can be Fitted With BSPT Press-in Swivel Couplings - Complete With Springs Excellent Flexibility. High Resistance To Oil, Petrol, Organic and In-organic Media. Temperature Range: -40 deg C to +80 deg C. Maximum Working Pressure: 15bar.
Additional Information
We also offer articulated vehicle air brake coils (Artics): black for emergency trailer lines, red for service trailer lines and yellow for auxillary trailer lines. The Flexible Preformed Nylon coils are custom manufactured for pig and poultry feeder and drinker lines which are installed because they are resistant to hydrolysis and self retract and extend as the equipment is raised and lowered without the need for expensive maintanance.
Rigid Nylon Tube / Pipe

Blue Rigid Nylon Tube in 3m straight lengths available from 12mm od to 28mm od. The lengths can be interconnected using John Guest fittings to create a network used to transfer and distribute compressed air.
Superflex Nylon tube

Superflex nylon tube, developed for compact pneumatic control systems, provides superior flexibility, negating the need for elbow fittings. Stocked in metric sizes from 4mm od through to 12mm od. Standard stock is natural colour, however, this can be manufactured in black, blue, red, yellow and green.
