Description
Lightweight, flexible, smooth bore 2-ply duct made from an outer layer of neoprene-coated and impregnated glass fibre fabric, featuring an outer double cord of neoprene-coated glass fibre. Supported by a high tensile spring steel helix, it is lined internally with a neoprene-coated glass fibre fabric to provide a smooth internal bore.
Features and Applications
Our neoprene ducting is designed for conveying hot or cold air, chemical fumes, industrial fumes, and non-aromatic solvents. Its construction ensures good chemical resistance in the vapour phase, making it suitable for numerous industrial applications.
Properties
This ducting is celebrated for its lightweight nature, easy handling, axial compressibility, and high flexibility. It maintains cross-sectional area on sharp bends and offers good low temperature flexibility. The duct provides excellent resistance to many oils, greases, solvents, and industrial chemicals in the vapour phase at moderate concentrations.
