P2PU PAS Food Polyurethane Ducting

Introducing the P2PU PAS Food Polyurethane Ducting — a lightweight flexible polyurethane ducting solution tailored for industries requiring a ducting suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications. This ducting is designed primarily for the suction of air, dust, oil, and petrol fumes.

Key Features:

  • Temperature Resilience: Operates between -40°C to +100°C in a 20°C ambient.
  • Robust Construction: 0.4mm thick polyether-polyurethane wall encapsulating a stainless-steel wire helix.
  • Versatility: Suitable for air, dust, and fibre extraction, particularly in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to hydrolysis and microbes. Food-safe according to EU Directive (EC) No. 1935/2004 and Regulation (EC) No. 10/2011, FDA Standard 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010.
  • Flexibility: Known for its very good flexibility, high abrasion resistance, and good compressibility.

Applications:

Air, dust, and fibre extraction, particularly suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The ducting is compliant with EU Directive (EC) No. 1935/2004 and Regulation (EC) No. 10/2011, FDA Standard 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010.

Material:

Constructed with a polyether-polyurethane wall encapsulating a stainless-steel wire helix. It is available in a clear color, with standard lengths of 10 metres and a diameter range of 40mm-600mm. Options include flame retardant, anti-static, microbe resistant, and black color variants.

  • EU Regulation 10/2011 Food Simulant B: Foods with pH <4.5.
  • EU Regulation 10/2011 Food Simulant C: Alcohol up to 20%.
  • EU Regulation 10/2011 Food Simulant D1: Alcohol content >20% and oil-in-water emulsions.
  • EU Regulation 10/2011 Food Simulant D2: Foods with free fats at the surface.
  • EU Regulation 10/2011 Food Simulant E: Testing specific migration into dry foods.
  • Suitable for alcohol up to 50%.
