Description
Electrically conductive Ester based polyurethane hose reinforced with a PU coated steel wire to ensure a high adhesion. The constant wall thickness of 1.5mm for the whole diameters range makes the ducting suitable for heavy duty applications. Nearly smooth bore to ensure optimum flow characteristics. Ideal for delivery of highly abrasive media as powders, granules of different nature at high speed. This hose meets the requirements of ATEX Directives, in potentially explosive environments.
Properties
Ester-based Polyurethane reinforced with PU coated high adhesion steel spiral. Raw material with permanent electrical conductive features R<104 Ohm/metre according to ISO 8031. Flexible, excellent resistance to abrasion, most chemicals, UV rays, ozone. Halogen free conform to RoHS Regulation. Compliant with the requirements of ATEX Directives. Flexible and very resistant to abrasion. Halogen free.The hose is capable of transferring electrostatic charges when installed on properly earthed systems and becomes conductive R<102 Ohm/m by earthing the spiral.
The recommended method for secure and efficient connections are Single bridge clamps and Double bridge clamps Bore Finish: Corrugated
