Our metric size semi rigid nylon tube is suitable up to Working Pressures of 103 Bar (4:1 safety factor) depending on size, and can withstand temperatures of up to 140 degrees C intermittently. High tolerances make our Nylon Tube ideal for pneumatic applications, often used as oil lines, fuel lines, petrol tank breather pipes, pneumatic controls, bleed lines, brake controls, and many other purposes! Dekabon / Synflex 1300 Pneumatic Tubing
Dekabon / Synflex 1300 Tubing is an aluminium core tube with an outer HDPE coating, and an ethylene copolymer inner coating. Dekabon / Synflex Tube has excellent flexibility, but uniquely holds its shape once bent into position. Synflex 1300 / Dekabon Tubing is often used in pneumatic applications as air and gas lines, air sniffer tube, and as a long distance air sampling method for laboratories.
Low Density Polyethylene Tube (LDPE Tube)
Low Density Polyethylene is often an extremely cost effective way of connection pneumatic lines and controls. The rigidity is similar to that of Nylon Tube, and under lower pressures, LDPE Tube performs excellently. It is often also used for the conveyance of soft drinks and beers within the brewing industry, and for water and domestic services. Pneumatic Polytetrafluoroethylene Tube (PTFE Tube)
PTFE Tube is commonly used for pneumatic applications where harsh chemical environments are involved. PTFE is resistant to virtually all chemicals, and provides an all round good resistance to abrasion, temperature and solvents. PTFE Tube is usable at up to 260 degrees C constantly, without any ill effect, and is relatively flexible even when taken to low temperatures. Pneumatic applications for PTFE Tube often take advantage of the moderate pressure ratings, and chemical and heat resistances.
