PharmaSteel - Clear TPE Rubber Hose with Stainless Steel Helical Reinforcement is a flexible hose made for applications where vulcanisation is unnecessary, thus avoiding contamination from curing agents, promoting energy efficiency, and reducing CO2 emissions.
Features and Applications
Ideal for the transfer of food, cosmetic, health care, and pharmaceutical products including premium wines, fruit juices, vinegar, spirits with an alcohol content up to 96%, creams, soaps, milk, and by-products. This hose is specifically engineered for high alcohol resistance and material purity.
Properties
This hose boasts an ultra-smooth surface inside and out for unimpeded flow and straightforward cleaning, minimising bacterial accumulation. Its TPE material is of low porosity, significantly reducing permeation issues and preserving the organoleptic characteristics of the conveyed substances. It provides exceptional resistance to chemicals, including acids and bases, and demonstrates good impermeability. The hose's design ensures durability against ageing, ozone, and weather conditions.
It can be made electrically bonded by grounding the spiral. The electrical resistance R ≤ 102 Ohm/m is according to ISO 8031 - ATEX Directives. Bore Finish: Smooth
