Red Hygienic TPE-S Hose designed for the food and beverage industry, it's material composition ensure it meets high standards for food-grade applications.
Features and Applications
Ideal for the suction and delivery of food liquids including wines, fruit juices, vinegar, and spirits with up to 50% alcohol content. Available in a blue version for milk and dairy products.
Properties
The Plutone PF features a red TPE-S construction with an identifying white longitudinal stripe and a white liner, both inside and outside surfaces are completely smooth for optimal flow and ease of sterilisation. It is reinforced with a steel spiral and polyester thread, providing structural integrity while allowing for flexibility. Chemical and Environmental Resistance: Offers excellent resistance to ozone, ageing, UV rays, and weathering, with good impermeability and resistance to acids, alkaline solutions, and alcohol up to 50%. Food Safety: Low porosity TPE-S material minimises permeation, ensuring the taste and odor neutrality, crucial for preserving quality of food products. Curing-Free Advantage: Produced without a vulcanisation process, avoiding potential contamination from curing agents, enhancing its suitability for food contact applications. Conductivity: Can be made conductive with a resistance of less than 10^2 Ohm/m when the steel helix is grounded, to prevent static build-up. *Also available in Blue with White Stripe Bore Finish: Smooth
