Semi-rigid Santoprene®extruded tube is specifically engineered for its excellent weather resistance and very good chemical resistance, with characteristics that closely mimic those of many vulcanised rubbers, offering a durable and reliable option for a wide range of applications.

Designed for the unpressurised transport of air and fluids, this Santoprene® tube is particularly beneficial in the automobile industry. Its semi-rigidity, coupled with excellent weather and chemical resistance, makes it a preferred choice for applications requiring robust material performance.Properties
The tube exhibits semi-rigidity, excellent weather resistance, and very good chemical resistance, mirroring the qualities of vulcanised rubbers. Boasts a nominal density of 0.96. With a tensile strength of >15.9 Mpa and an elongation at break of >530%, it demonstrates significant durability and flexibility. The standard black colour is practical for various applications, and it can withstand peak temperatures up to +110°C.The recommended method for secure and effective connections is a nipple with lug clamp or band clamp, ensuring reliable integration into systems.
