Product Overview

- Crystal Clear can be sterilized by autoclave, ETO, gamma radiations, and chemicals.
- Heat sealable and quick welding of multiple lengths, which can be assembled without the need of connectors. This ensures the stability of the flow.
- More impermeable than silicone elastomers
- Curing-free material prevents curing agent residues leaching into end product

Technical features: Hygienic TPE pharmaceutical grade tubing for peristaltic pumps specifically engineered for applications within food, pharmaceutical, biotech and cosmetic industries.

Properties: The extruded, low porosity TPE tube reduces permeation problems. Highly neutral in taste and odour, it preserves the organoleptic properties of the medium. Good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions and highly impermeable. Versatile TPE rubber is resistant to alcohols with max. 50% concentration. Much more impermeable than silicone elastomers.

Long working life: Superior working life on peristaltic pumps when compared with similar tubing of the competition (average working life >190 hours when tested on a 3 lobes pump with 600 turning/minute) and minimal spallation on pump heads.

Curing-free material: Our Clear TPE Pharmaceutical Tubing does not require any vulcanization process, therefore it prevents the risk of leaching of curing agent residues into the end product (peroxide or platinum volatile rests) and helps to limit CO2 emissions whilst saving energy.

Connector-free joins: Remove the need for expensive fittings which also have an adverse effect on flow, this TPE tubing is heat sealable, allowing for quick welding of multiple lengths.

Application Fields

Ideal solution for peristaltic pumps working in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food sectors.

Typical applications: dosing of pharmaceutical fluids, sterile filling and dispensing systems, cell culture media, synthetic processes, purification and separation processes, laboratory applications, dosing of soaps, creams, detergents.

Dosing of juices, alcohols, sauces, viscous fluids (syrups), waters and purified waters. For milk and low fat products. For dispensers of beverages.

This product is manufactured under GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice according to Regulation (CE) N. 2023/2006, regarding materials and goods intended to come into contact with foodstuff.
