Our Master-Tube PUR 98A Food is the first food-approved polyurethane tube of its type in Europe, offering exceptional performance in food and pharmaceutical applications. This spiral-free unreinforced tubing is engineered to meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene, making it ideal for direct food contact.
Features and Applications
Constructed from highly abrasion-resistant material with elastic properties, the Master-Tube PUR 98A Food complies with the stringent requirements of the German Food and Feed Code (LFGB). It is approved for direct food contact under EU Directive 1935/2004, 10/2011, and its latest amending Directives. Additionally, the material meets FDA food regulations (21 CFR § 177.2600 - 21 CFR § 178.2010), ensuring its suitability for food and pharmaceutical industries.
Properties
The hose offers excellent UV resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and microbe resistance, ensuring durability in various environments. It is plasticiser-free and kink-resistant, maintaining flexibility even at low temperatures, which is critical for operations requiring consistent and safe material handling.
